Supporting Epilepsy Action
Homemade Properties is proud to support Epilepsy Action. Last year the charity helped over 731,000 people through its range of services. Their award-winning website Epilepsy.org.uk, receives an average of more than 135,000 unique visitors every month.
Stephen Davies, Homemade Properties’ Managing Director, has to date taken part in numerous charity runs on behalf of Epilepsy Action. In April 2008, as part of a 16 person expedition that successfully walked across the Canadian Arctic, he raised over £5,500 for the organisation.
He has also recently returned from an Unsupported team attempt to walk to the Magnetic North Pole. Unfortunately a week into this 360 nautical mile trek the Expedition leader was taken down with pneumonia, and the team extracted. You can read about their Expedition and see photos from this Arctic Wilderness on the blog - April 2010 - by clicking here.

Please Click Here to support him! 100% of funds raised will go straight to the charity, as the Expedition costs are met by Stephen in full.
Over 90% of Epilepsy Action’s income comes from voluntary contributions. The charity’s vital work (which includes an advice and information centre, branch network, accredited volunteer scheme and dedicated freephone helpline) would not be possible without the continued support of its generous donors.
In April 2008 Homemade Properties Managing Director - Stephen Davies - was part of a 16 person team to walk 100 miles over 8 days and nights through the Canadian Arctic on Baffin Island, successfully crossing the Auyuittuq National Park. In 2010 as part of a 10 person team he attempted walking unsupported 360 nautical miles, from Resolute on Cornwallis Island, across the sea ice to the 1996 surveyed position of the Magnetic North Pole, an Expedition in temperatures down to -50C. Watch this space for his next challenge!
